The standards in the Code apply to the behaviour of members of the Board and extend beyond the procedures prescribed in the Insurance Commission of Western Australia Act 1986. They require all Board members to act with honesty, fairness and integrity and to display the highest ethical standards at all times.
The Code is reviewed regularly and amended to ensure it retains its importance and remains relevant.
