What treatment you can claim

When a driver other than you causes a crash and you are injured, you can claim for the cost of approved treatment to help your recover. Your claims officer will advise which treatment/s are approved.

Depending on the type and severity of your injury, this may include:

Cars in heavy traffic.

  • Ambulance transport
  • Hospital services
  • Medical services (doctors and specialists)
  • Allied health services (like physio and chiro)
  • Therapy services
  • Dental services
  • X-rays
  • Medical aids
  • Medication

We pay reasonable and necessary expenses up to the maximum amounts set by the Australian Medical Association and WorkCover WA.

Please check with your treatment provider as there may be a gap payment, payable by you.

Payment for GP consultations fees can range from $53 and $430, depending on the type of service and time required. Payment for other medical and imaging services may also be available .

Some allied health services are listed below as examples.

  • Physiotherapist subsequent consultation: $93.95
  • Chiropractor initial consultation: $105.45
  • Chiropractor subsequent consultation: $67.85
  • Psychologist  consultation, initial and subsequent: $232.85
