Motor Vehicle Catastrophic Injuries Support Scheme Service Provider Forum
19 April 2018
As the Motor Vehicle (MV) Catastrophic Injuries Support (CIS) scheme approaches the end of its second year, the Insurance Commission will host an interactive forum for service providers.
Following the introduction of the MV CIS scheme on 1 July 2016, all people catastrophically injured in a motor vehicle crash in Western Australia receive necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support.
Service providers are invited to learn about the scheme's performance and hear about future activities. The forum will also provide an opportunity for providers to give feedback on the scheme.
Why is this forum important?
It will cover:
- MV CIS scheme performance;
- MV CIS scheme participant feedback;
- service provider feedback and discussion;
- improvement opportunities; and
- future actions and challenges.
Disability services providers, allied health and nursing professionals, and people with disabilities are encouraged to attend.
Places are limited. Please register as soon as possible.
Registrations close on Wednesday 30 May at 5pm.
