Leani joined the Insurance Commission in March 2026 and has had a diverse career working across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. With an extensive background in human resources, operations, corporate services and governance, Leani most recently led a range of corporate functions for the WA Department of Treasury and Finance including People and Culture, Finance and Procurement Services, ICT, governance and compliance, and facilities and operations.
