The Insurance Commission belongs to the people of Western Australia as a State-owned trading enterprise of the Western Australian Government. We perform insurance services within the community and for the benefit of community members.
Promoting initiatives to reduce motor vehicle crashes and lessening the impact of injury from those crashes not only helps the community but makes good commercial sense to reduce claims' costs from those accidents.
We also recognise the importance of being a good corporate citizen and actively engaging with the community to seek mutually beneficial outcomes in a sustainable and responsible manner. One way the Insurance Commission does this is by sponsoring community-based organisations. See details on one of these initiatives, the Belt up campaign, that the Insurance Commission has sponsored for almost two decades.
