The Organisation
The Insurance Commission of Western Australia is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides Motor Injury Insurance to Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government known as the RiskCover Fund.
Generating $1 billion in annual revenue and earnings and with total assets of approximately $5.2 billion under investment, the Insurance Commission is a substantial self–funded statutory authority.

The Role
Occupants of these positions will manage a portfolio of complex common law motor vehicle personal injury claims with a focus on timely and equitable resolution of these claims.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategies to bring these complex claims to conclusion.
- Manage the settlement process for complex claims in an informal or pre-trial conference setting.

Appointment Information
Any offer of employment is conditional upon the applicant providing a satisfactory National Police Clearance and Traffic Infringements Certificate which are no more than six months old.
In addition to the immediately available positions, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including contract appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
