Welcome to the Annual Report of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia for the year ended 30 June 2019.
This Report describes our performance during the year and provides an opportunity for our stakeholders to obtain information about our organisation's contribution to the Western Australian economy for the 2018-19 financial year. The Report was sent to the Treasurer and tabled in the Parliament of Western Australia.
The annual report presents an overview of the role, function and strategic direction of the Insurance Commission. It is divided into five main areas: Chairman and Chief Executive reports, overview of the Insurance Commission, our performance, disclosures and legal compliance, including significant issues impacting the Insurance Commission, and financial statements.
