Welcome to the Annual Report of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia for the year ended 30 June 2018.

This Report describes our performance during the year and provides an opportunity for our stakeholders to obtain information about our organisation's contribution to the Western Australian economy for the 2017-18 financial year. The Report was sent to the Treasurer and tabled in the Parliament of Western Australia.

This report presents an overview of the role, function and strategic direction of the Insurance Commission. It is then divided into six key areas: Chairman and Chief Executive reports, overview of the Insurance Commission, our performance, significant matters impacting the Insurance Commission, financial statements, and disclosures and legal compliance.
