We pay for approved treatment to help you recover from your injury as quickly as possible. We pay up to the maximum amounts set by the AMA or WorkCover. If there is a gap payment, you’ll need to pay this.
Your claims officer will advise you what treatment is approved for payment, after you make a claim on the crash report website (motor injury claims) or through your employer (workers compensation claims)
At your appointment, you can have the treatment paid immediately by:
- providing your treatment number (sent to you via email or SMS)
- using your digital claiming card (downloaded via a link we send you)
- iPhone users scan it over the HiCAPS machine
- Android users show their card so it can be entered manually
- paying yourself and requesting a reimbursement.
If your medical provider doesn't have a HICAPS terminal, they can use their online HICAPS portal or invoice us directly.
