Graduate program open for applications

Insurance Commission Graduates

7 March 2017

The Insurance Commission of Western Australia (ICWA) has opened applications for its Graduate Program.

The Graduate Program will accept three successful applicants who will be employed on two-year fixed contracts, with the possibility of permanency on completion of the program.

Graduates will rotate through ICWA’s key business units where they will gain valuable experience in a financial service delivery environment.

Chief Executive Officer, Rod Whithear, said ICWA was focused on delivering a graduate program that benefited both ICWA and the graduates.

“We are committed to attracting high-quality graduates to ICWA who offer a new perspective and fresh approach to the business,” he said.

“In return, we have over 400 employees with a wealth of experience that they can impart on those entering the workforce for the first time.”

“The Insurance Commission provides employees with the opportunity for global industry experience with the benefits of public sector employment,” said Whithear.

ICWA is a State-owned Government Business Enterprise that provides Motor Injury Insurance to Western Australian motorists and manages RiskCover, the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.

Generating $1 billion in annual revenue and earnings and with total assets of approximately $4.8 billion under investment, ICWA is a substantial self–funded statutory authority.

The benefits of working with ICWA include the opportunity to grow and develop a career, extensive training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements and a central accessible location in the Perth CBD.

Applications are now open and close at 5pm AWST on Monday 20 March 2017. For more information on how to apply, click here.
